Most Loved this Summer

Summer has ended and now fall is here! There are a few things that I want to share with you so I'll get right into it!

  • I guess I'll start with the big one, my Mazda CX-7. A week before I started my new job, my Nissan Xterra was on the verge of breaking down and driving it to work would be hassle if it happens to suddenly stop working. So, for a month, I was either getting dropped off/picked up by my Dad like a grade schooler at work or I wait for 15 minutes to an hour or more for a cab. I waited 3 weeks for this car to get inspected and certified and it was well worth it. I most especially love the sound system, sunroof and the heated seats!

  • Bella soy candle and aromatic diffuser from Target. I have an uncle who came to visit us for a few days and he is VERY meticulous when it comes to maintaining cleanliness and order at home like my mom. He gave this candle an A-okay and also the Mrs. Meyer's foaming handsoap in Lavender and Lemon. They are products that are worth checking out. I've already repurchased a candle and the diffuser that I have is still... diffusing after more than a month.
  • Don't take my word for it, but getting pampered here in the US costs A LOT. When I'm in the Philippines, I have my nails done, get waxed, have full body massages and all that good heavenly stuff frequently. Because if you compare the prices for a full body massage, it's around $35 at The Spa. Here you can get an hour of full body massage at $70-90. Imagine that! (dollar bill with wings emoji) With that said, this is all that I do for myself when it comes to pampering... a mask sheet. 11 sheets for $13 on Amazon. Avocado is my favorite, so far!
  • So yeah, I finally tried Amazon for the first time and it was great. Relatively good prices for quality stuff. Loving my new MacBook cover and iPad mini case!
  • On my last post, I mentioned that I wanted a Calvin Klein bralette, then I found out that it doesn't have cotton lined cups which is what I really want. I went on Aerie which is now my go-to place for everything underwear related and I practically bought one of each bralettes they had that had cotton lined cups ($15 each). I love it so much!
  • To add something summer-y on this list, an off shoulder swimsuit at Hollister! I got it for $10-15 at the clearance section! It was retailed for $35, such a steal! I only wonder when I can finally wear this cutie! Haha
  • Lastly, the tiniest favorites in this post... is my new piercing! (Tiny nga diba. Haha) I got my helix piercing done this weekend. So fast, so clean and painless!
That's all I have, ladies!

  1. Congratulations on your new car, too, Mich! The Mazda CX-9 was one of our options when we were looking for an SUV last year. :D Anyway, Amazon is really amazing, but you have to be careful in buying from there, too, because sometimes third-party sellers sell duds. Always check customer reviews, plus who exactly is selling the product!👍🏼

  3. Ahh congrats on the new car! That's a big one :D // The Island Moonlight packaging is so beautiful! // I definitely miss the spa. Back in Beijing when I was living with my family, we'd have family spa nights! I haven't gone to the spa since going off for college in the States :P // That swimsuit is so gorgeous, and only for $10?? What a steal! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's
