That Post When She Talked About The Not So Recent Life Lately

It's been almost a year since I sat down and talked about what's been going on in my life so, I guess that's what I'm going to do right now!

Something that I haven't mentioned in my blog yet is that we adopted a puppy earlier this year! I like to say that she's a mix of pit bull and bulldog. She's 8 months old. I named her Bellatrix and we call her Bell for short.

She has put holes in one of my shorts and pajamas, nibbled at the sides of our couch, massacred a number of water bottles and her chew toys but we love her nonetheless!

Truth be told. I've been meaning to make a Wish List on my blog before December 2015 and also on my birth month but I never really did and now it's finally here!

• Alaffia African Black Soap and Dessert Essence Organic Jojoba Oil. Two skincare products that I heard from SoothingSista. Definitely something that I'm going to try next when I empty my Aveeno products.

I am well aware that it is already summer but I wanted to give a few of these products more time for me to decide if I really love it.

That Post About The Millworks

Here's something different in my blog. As a treat for my birthday last month, I went out for lunch with my Dad at The Millworks. Truth be told, I found this place through Google when I searched "hipster restaurants near me." So, thank you Google for the suggestion.

The place is huge enough to have dining indoors and outdoors, a full service bar, artist studios (a lot of studios), live music shows and a gallery that displays local artists' crafts which you can purchase!
