That Post When She Talked About Recent Things

I honestly have been feeling a bit indifferent regarding this blog. The last couple months of "active blogging" phase is slowly taking its downfall. I may even be more out of the scene this coming month since I was offered a job. Yes, I was offered the job that I was interviewed for last month! In addition to that, I am also scheduled to take my driving test. Need car for job, need job for car! Originally, I was going to take it this coming week but due to conflicts of schedule it was moved to a later date. Then, next month, I get to have my second shot on my CGFNS exam. Dear God, I pray that I make it this time! I am immensely grateful for all the blessings and opportunities that has come lately. I hope to do well in each quest!

If I ever actually drift from posting on my blog, you may find me on Twitter because that's where most of my brain farts are posted and on Instagram where I have recently started microblogging.

About to get a job? Here are some possible interview questions!

On my past entry, I mentioned that I was called for a job interview. I thought I'd share some questions that may help you prepare for future interviews. If you are about to get a job or know someone who is, feel free to read on and share, hopefully you pick up an idea that can be useful for you!

General Questions:
  • Tell me about yourself.
  • Do you know a lot about (insert the name of the company you are applying for)?
  • How did you find out about us?
  • Give me three reasons why you are applying for this job.
  • Tell me about that time when you exceeded in your job.
  • Some people prefer to multitask and some prefer to do things one at a time, which one are you?
  • What are your salary requirements?
  • What is your preferred job schedule? Full time/Part time/Per Diem/Temporary
  • What is your preferred shift work? Days/Evenings/Night
Nursing Related Questions:
  • Are you interested in taking additional courses? What would you like to take?
  • Was there a time that you helped the least fortunate? In what way did you help?
  • In your personal or work experience, have you ever encountered a bad-tempered client? How did you handle it?
  • In team nursing, you are able to work together with other personnel, what would you do if a member doesn't do his job?
Besides the questions listed above, they also reviewed and verified the information on my resume. I hope that helps!

If you're already employed, how was your first interview? I remember during the interview, I was distracted by a spider hanging outside the huge office window! We were on the fourth floor, imagine that!

August Is Playing Me

August has bombarded me with life changing news all in one day! Yesterday, I woke up with a celebratory feeling because Tom and I have been together for over a year now! Yay! I also knew that they will release my exam results for IELTS on that day. Tom suggested that he should check my results for me and after giving him some details, he gave me the sweet news that I passed! A couple of minutes later, I logged in to my account to see if the results for my CGFNS Quali exam is already out, I wasn't prepared at all to see that the results were released. Moreover, I wasn't prepared to see that I failed. Tom was on Skype the whole time and comforted me and sang to me, making me feel that I am immensely loved by someone all the way from the Philippines! Then an hour later while watching The Other Woman (great cheer-up film, by the way!), I received a call from the HR at a recently opened hospital that I applied to and gave me the news that I am being called for a job interview!!!

Crap. August.

Stop toying with my feelings.
