Divergent is currently rolling its credits as I am typing this! The movie was good but not that great. I used to watch Shailene Woodley in The Secret Life of an American Teenager and her acting was kind of bad that I stopped watching it. It's great to know that she has improved her acting! Lol. Listen to me and my criticism!
I wish I could have seen more of Maggie Q! Though I didn't read the book so I have no idea if her character exposure was really just that. I have no intentions of reading the book because Divergent simply did not top The Hunger Games for me. I think I'm also done with dystopian novels for now. If you have read the novel, how did you find it? Should I read it?

DeleteI fell in love with Uriah when I read the book and was pretty upset that he had so little screen time in the film! I'd have to say that he's not just my favorite supporting character, but my favorite character period. I thought the book was better than the movie, although I watched the movie first. I didn't like the way Tris was portrayed in the film, but that's just my opinion! I also read Insurgent, which I didn't think was as good as Divergent, but I didn't read Allegiant, and I don't plan on it, because I heard that it was really bad, but my friend told me about it, and I agree with her from what she said haha. ReplyDeleteMy cousin told me that I should read the book first before watching the film because I might not read the book after watching, and she was right! One of the reasons while I'm holding back to reading Divergent is because of The Mortal Instruments sequel that I haven't finished yet. Maybe then I'll read Divergent! Hehe Have a great day!
